Samantha
“When I was about 11 years old, my friends used to make fun of me because my teeth had big gaps. I told my mom that I wanted to have perfect teeth. After two years of working with Dr. Kinzer and his team, my smile was just that. Perfect. Words cannot describe how good it feels to know that when I smile my teeth are beautiful!” -Samantha

Samantha’s chief complaint when she came to see us was that her front teeth had spaces. Our examination showed a skeletal class 1 with normal skeletal lateral development with a normal skeletal vertical with good skeletal midline. Dentally she was a class 1 with anterior spacing with a normal dental vertical.

Her treatment plan was to level, align, tip, torque and rotate the teeth, close the anterior spaces with sliding mechanics, and maintaining division relationship.

We applied upper and lower braces, and no bonding was needed after orthodontic treatment was finished.

Windy
Windy’s chief complaint was that she was having pain and wanted her teeth fixed. Our examination showed and abscess, advanced decay, and old leaky amalgams with many cracked teeth.

Her treatment included a root canal on one tooth and direct bonded composite restorations for all upper posterior teeth.

Konimi

“Before I had dental restoration I thought I had an adequate smile. The before and after pictures were a shock! I had no idea such a difference could be made! I was also surprised that friends and acquaintances commented on how beautiful a smile I had. I don’t notice those things unless I see something spectacular! Jackson Creek Dental Group is a professional, sophisticated, and friendly corporation. Do not underestimate their expertise. Ask for Dr. Ask!” -Konimi

Konimi’s chief complaint when she came to see us was she wanted whiter teeth and would do anything to improve her smile. Our examination showed she had 19-year-old porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns on three teeth, an old discolored direct composite veneer on one tooth, and a slightly reversed smile line.

Her treatment included all porcelain Empress crowns and one Empress veneer.

Sally

“I am so happy with my new smile and extremely glad I had this work done. My teeth were yellow, mismatched and I’ve always wanted them to be straight. I feel so much better now and people are always telling me how wonderful I look! In fact, my new smile actually helps minimize the wrinkles around my mouth and I love it. Dr. Simpson and his team were great and always made sure I had a pleasant dental experience each time I came in.” -Sally

Sally’s chief complaint when she came to see us was that her teeth were yellow, mismatched, and not straight. Our examination showed slight rotations, extrinsic staining of the natural teeth resulting in mismatched crowns, and gingival recession exposing crown margins.

Her treatment plan included bleaching, veneers, crowns, an extraction, and a bridge.

Jim

“It wasn’t until Dr. Simpson fitted me with the veneers that I realized I had spent years being self-conscious about my smile. The process was painless and professional, and the result looked so natural that even my friends and family couldn’t guess that I had it done. They only knew there was something different about me. Now I smile easily, confidently and much more often.” -Jim

Jim’s chief complaint when he came to see us was that he would like the pitting and staining on his teeth removed.

His treatment included indirect veneers on 4 front teeth and direct composites on direct composite veneers on two additional teeth.

Susan

“I moved to Amador County in 2002. Someone recommended Jackson Creek Dental Group as the best in the area and I am certainly glad I followed that recommendation. Jackson Creek Dental Group has provided me with excellent care and I know they are using the latest technology/skills/methods to improve my dental health, and also keep me looking my best. Now, when someone new to Amador County asks what dentist I use, I am pleased to refer them to Jackson Creek Dental Group. Dr. Ask has been diligent about keeping my smile a healthy one and as a result, a happy one.” - Susan

Susan thought her teeth were fine and just came in for a checkup. Our examination showed she had a deep crack around an old amalgam filling, and two old leaking crowns.

Her treatment plan included two Lava crowns and one Empress onlay crown.

Amber

Amber's Quote:

“Having a new smile has given me a new level of confidence. Comparing before and after pictures I am amazed at the improvement! I am often complimented on how beautiful my smile is.

Thank you Dr. Ask and Jackson Creek Dental Group for your excellent service and for giving me the smile I always dreamed of.”

Amber came to see us because she wasn’t completely happy with her smile: “something was not quite right.” She wanted to have the “smile of her dreams.” Amber was also having headaches and TMJ problems. Our examination showed a limited jaw opening, and she was grinding her teeth at night. Pain and pressure was causing TMJ “pops.” She had completed orthodontic treatment elsewhere 10 years earlier. We also found she had dental and skeletal Class II malocclusion.

Her treatment plan was to provide a removable twin block orthopaedic appliance to correct the Div II open skeletal bite, correct dental and skeletal Class II malocclusion, widen the maxilla, and improve her TMJ health.

We also did gingival/osseous surgery (re-contouring of the gums) to reduce her “gummy” smile, and did in-home bleaching. We then applied direct composite veneers on six of her front teeth to lengthen and reshape them, along with multiple posterior direct restorations.

Rosie

“I knew my teeth were wearing away and I needed to do something about it. After my treatment at Jackson Creek Dental Group I couldn’t believe the difference. I’ve never had such a great smile. Dr. Ask and his team, as always, were great and very professional. Thanks for making my smile brighter!” - Rosie

Rosie has been a patient for quite some time. Her chief complaint was her mottled teeth and their color variation. She just didn’t like her smile.

Her treatment plan was to reduce the overgrowth of gingival tissue on the upper anterior and bicuspid areas to give the appearance of normal sized teeth, and correct the worn, chipped and discoloration of the teeth.

First we surgically removed excess gingival tissue in both the upper anterior and bicuspid teeth, and then provided at-home bleaching trays to even out and lighten the overall color of her teeth. Once this was complete, we applied all ceramic indirect restorations to the six upper anterior teeth, correcting chipping and wear, and filling out her smile. We also did direct composite partial veneers on teeth 5, 12, and 13. All old amalgam restorations were replaced with direct bonded composite restorations.

Stacey

“Before I had the bonding procedure done, I felt uncomfortable smiling because of the gaps in my teeth. After having my teeth bonded I immediately felt my self-esteem and my confidence increase. My only regret is that I did not have it done sooner.” - Stacey

Stacey’s chief complaint when she came to see us was that she did not like her small teeth, bad bite, and that her front teeth tilted in. Our examination showed she had two choices with small teeth: 1) Keep/make the jaws narrow to match the teeth, or 2) Widen the smile for health and beauty and then widen the teeth.

We chose the second choice, and her treatment plan included: 1) A Twin Block orthopaedic appliance to widen the maxilla, correct the skeletal and dental class II and widen the smile, 2) Bleaching, and 3) Direct composite veneers on teeth #6-10.
