Dr. Jerhet R. Ask

Practicing Advanced Dentistry, Orthodontics, Implants, and More

Dr. Jerhet R. AskDr. Jerhet Ask graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in May of 2010. He graduated with honors in orthodontics, and was awarded the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Sullivan-Schein Dental Achievement Award. He completed a general practice residency the following year. Dr. Jerhet received his BS in Business Administration with an emphasis on Pre-Dentistry from Pacific Union College in 2006.

Dr. Jerhet joined Jackson Creek Dental Group in December, 2012. He is proud to be a part of such a well managed and successful dental practice, and looks forward to making sure his patients receive the highest quality dentistry possible, and the most positive and enjoyable dental experience possible when they visit him.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

When he is not at work, Dr. Jerhet enjoys spending time with his family and friends and has a long list of hobbies. He enjoys climbing and hiking in the mountains, snowboarding and skiing, mountain biking, surfing and wakeboarding. Anything that puts him outdoors and active. Dr. Jerhet also likes being a computer nerd, and playing video and computer games in his down time.

Dr. Jerhet’s motto is ‘Change a tooth, Change a smile, Change a life’, and he looks forward to doing just that as he builds his practice with his team here at Jackson Creek Dental Group.


Nicole, Registered Dental Hygienist

Nicole, a Registered Dental Hygienist joined our team in 2011, and strongly believes in building personal, one-on-one relationships with her patients to help improve their overall health and well-being. Nicole received her Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts and an Associate of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Folsom Lake College, Folsom CA. She went on to get her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Carrington College California in Sacramento, CA.

Educating children has been something Nicole has spent a lot of hours doing. She has worked with Headstart preschools, elementary schools, and homeless shelters delivering oral hygiene and nutritional instruction for both children and adults. She has also been involved with SDDS and Smiles for Kids.

Nicole loves almost anything you can do outside, including playing soccer, and hiking. You can also find her spending time in the kitchen cooking up a storm. Nicole is a true family person and considers time spent with her family and friends to be very precious.

Candice, Patient Coordinator


Candice has always been in customer service positions and exceled, receiving awards and recognition in many of her jobs. Candice came to our office as an Administrative Coordinator, she loved seeing patients and putting them at ease making them part of the Jackson Creek Dental family. She now has the opportunity to get to know her patients on a more personal level to assist them where they are at.

Candice loves the fact the practice is big on continuing education and learning how to apply knowledge to benefit our patients. She strives to give every patient a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they leave. The reason she does what she does is because it directly effects the patients we see.

In her down time she is at the football field watching and supporting her son. Sports are a big part of her life and enjoyment. Outside of sports, Candice loves to be outdoors, camping, exploring, traveling, swimming, and watching live music or sports games.

Emily, Registered Dental Assistant, Extended Functions 2

Emily graduated as a dental assistant from Heald College in Salida in 2013 and went right on to obtain her RDA license in July of that same year. She has been involved with us here at Jackson Creek Dental Group for many years. Not only did she do her externship and ROP training here, she also volunteered to work at our Smiles For Kids Day. “I have always been interested in dentistry, and wanted to have a healthy, beautiful white smile,” says Emily. “When this job came open, I was so excited. Everyone is so nice and helpful, and I love that it’s all about pulling together as a team. I am also happy to be working in an office that has all the latest in dental technology.”

Emily is the proud mother of triplets and says “These are fun, busy times for me and our house is never quiet unless the kids are sleeping.” Fortunately for Emily she has all of her family here in Amador County so there is a lot of help taking care of the little ones.

Horses are something that have always been a part of her life and she spent a couple years showing them and winning ribbons at the Amador County Fair. Emily also has a love for soccer, playing both indoor and outdoor tournaments over the past 16 years. In addition, on any given day you might find her cooking and baking, or just being outdoors and in the snow during the winter.

Lauren, Registered Dental Assistant

Lauren graduated as a dental assistant from National School of Dental Assisting in Modesto in January of 2016. She previously worked at Alpine Dental here in Jackson before joining Jackson Creek Dental Group. “I had heard a lot of great things about Jackson Creek Dental Group,” stated Lauren. “Many people had told me that this office was a good, family oriented business and fun to work at. And when I was was here doing my working interview I observed just how friendly and helpful everyone was.”

Born in Columbus, Georgia, Lauren moved to Jackson with her family when she was a year old and went on to graduate from Argonaut High School. She and her family have remained in the area and she is now raising her children here as well.

When Lauren is not at work, you’ll find her up in the mountains camping, or out at the softball field working the diamond on a co-ed league. She also loves being outdoors, watching and coaching her kids in sports and hanging with her family.

Rachelle, Registered Dental Assistant

Rachelle is so genuine and a joy to have as an addition to our company. Rachelle came to us from another office in the Santa Rosa area. Rachelle is well versed in worked not only on the clinical side but the administrative side. Rachelle assists not only the doctors but the other assistants, hygienists, and the administrative staff when she can.

Rachelle would like to continue her education by going back to school to get her license in Extended Functions. Rachelle would like to grow her knowledge and skills to one day buy her own house and visit every MLB stadium. Rachelle appreciates the office for how organized and friendly everyone is for it being such a large practice.

When Rachelle is not hard at work she is relaxing with her friends and family kayaking at Bear River or Silver Lake, or attending Giants Games. You would never know but Rachelle’s favorite color is pink and she collects Disney pins.
