Ashlee, Registered Dental HygienistAshlee, Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashlee, a Registered Dental Hygienist joined our team in 2010, and her patients love her. She graduated from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California with an Associate of Science degree. She had started a Dental Assistant program, but was accepted to hygiene school before she could complete it. Ashlee graduated from Carrington College in Sacramento in 2009 with her Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene.

One year as we were looking for Smiles for Kids volunteers, Ashlee came to join us for the day. She fell in love with the practice when she saw how everyone worked so well together and was willing to give their time for such a good cause. We feel very lucky to have her on our team.

Ashlee loves to travel. She has been to Israel, the Caribbean Islands, and spends a lot of time in Tahoe. She also spends many hours with Headstart Schools doing dental screenings, and enjoys teaching small children about dental health.

Star, Patient CoordinatorStar, Patient Coordinator

Star joined Jackson Creek Dental Group in 2008, bringing with her over 10 years in the banking industry. Prior to that, she worked as a supervisor at the Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel. Providing exceptional customer service has always been a top priority for Star, and she loves focusing on each and every patient that is part of our dental family.

Star joined Jackson Creek Dental Group because she believed it would be a great place to work and would allow her to pursue a new career in a field that is totally oriented towards servicing people. She also finds the staff here at the practice to be very kind and extremely personable. “Everyone is focused on making sure the patient has the best possible experience while visiting our office.”

Family is an important part of Star’s life. She spends a lot of time with her son hiking at local lakes and just driving around and doing whatever comes along. Star is an avid reader, spending many hours reading suspense and legal mysteries. She and her son are also movie buffs and theme park “junkies.” Star also likes to join her son and his friends on their field trips.

Mari, Registered Dental AssistantMari, Registered Dental Assistant

Mari graduated with honors from High Tech Institute as a Dental Assistant in July 2008, and completed her externship here at Jackson Creek Dental Group. She did such a great job that she became a permanent employee in August of 2008. Mari felt that our practice offered her the opportunity to learn something new each and every day, which was one of her goals when she graduated. She was also thrilled that our staff was so friendly and easy to work with, and they made her feel right at home.

When Mari is away from work you will find her watching movies and spending time with her family.

Robin, Registered Dental AssistantRobin, Registered Dental Assistant

Robin began working in the dental field over ten years ago. She graduated in 2000 from Bryman College in San Francisco as a Dental Assistant and went on to receive her RDA license in 2001. When she moved to Amador County after living in Washington, she heard nothing but positive things about Jackson Creek Dental Group. She was looking to work in a larger dental office that ran smoothly and where everyone enjoyed working together. After interviewing with us early in 2012 she knew this was the place she wanted to be.

Robin and her family like being outdoors and their hobbies reflect that. She and her girls spend a lot of time doing target practice, and Robin enjoys hunting big game. She also loves auto racing, both NASCAR and dirt tracks.
