The Support Team at Jackson Creek Dental Group
Dental Health for Jackson, Ione, Pine Grove, Sutter Creek and Pioneer
Michelle is a graduate of Galan Dental Assisting College in Modesto, and has been working in the dental field for over 14 years. Prior to joining our staff, she spent eight years working with an orthodontist in Modesto. When her family decided to move to the foothills, she came to Jackson Creek Dental Group and was very impressed by how professional and friendly our office was and joined our team in 2006. Michelle takes a lot of pride in her work, and believes that she needs to get to know her patients so she can always deliver the best treatment and service possible. She is an RDA on our Support Team, assisting in all dental areas when needed.
Horses are a big part of Michelle’s life. In fact, her family built a home on property they had owned for 20 years that could accommodate their horses and other animals. You can also find Michelle volunteering at the Delta Blood Bank, and working with California Children’s Services providing orthodontic services.
Born and raised in San Jose and its neighboring cities, Monica settled in the foothills of Amador County with her children to be close to her family. She graduated from Andon College (now Merrick College) in Stockton in 2001 and completed her externship in San Andreas. She joined our practice in October 2007 because she was excited about the opportunity to work in an office that was using the latest in dental technology.
Monica loves the camaraderie of the staff and the fact that they are all focused on educating the patient about their dental health. She also is happy to have the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in her dental knowledge, and is now dedicating all her free time to studying so she can take the test for her RDA license later this year.
Being a “family-oriented” mom, Monica enjoys spending a lot of time with her children, having family dinners and playing taxi for her daughter. She also enjoys reading and shopping when time permits.
